STORAGE

We have gathered our best tips when it comes to keep your jewelry beautiful for as long as possible:

• Storage your jewelry in a soft bag or dust bag to avoid scratches and damages. It is always preferable to put the jewelry in individual compartments with soft lining.

• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, soaps and other scented products to maintain the original color of the jewelry. Would they get in contact with any of these, we recommend rinsing the jewelry gently with warm water and then wiping them of with a soft cloth.

• Never pull on chains and store your chains in loops to avoid any damage.

EXPOSURE AND TEMPERATURE

Avoid exposing the jewelry to direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures such as heat or cold. We enjoy taking a dip in the sea, unfortunately, our jewelry does not, so avoid swimming, showering and to workout regularly with the jewelry to prevent loss of color and luster.

AFTER USE

After using, carefully wipe each piece of jewelry with a soft cloth to remove any makeup residues or oils from your skin.

CARE OF PEARLS AND GEMSTONES

Freshwater pearls thrive when given a little extra devotion and care. After each use, we suggest delicately wiping the pearls with a damp cloth to help maintain their luster. However, it is important to keep the pearls away from grease dissolving expedient such as dish soap, because it can harm the pearls. When it comes to storage, we advice placing them in soft material, separate from other jewelry. Avoid cotton, as it may dehydrate the pearls.

• Pearls can be cleaned using a soft polishing cloth to remove dirt.

• Gemstones may also need cleaning, and in that case, we recommend using a soft toothbrush and warm water. Avoid chemicals.

GOLD PLATED JEWELRY

It can due to several factors, for example, if you wear a ring daily, it will inevitably be exposed various strains, especially on the underside where it can come into contact with surfaces. Jewelry can also be exposed to various substances in everyday life that may cause them loosing their shine, such as dirt, exhaust, oils, beauty products and liquids. Therefore, it is important to take care of your gold plated jewelry to avoid the plating wearing off over time. We have gathered our best tips for preserving the gold plating.

• Avoid contact with water and chemicals, such as perfume, chlorine, lotion and hairspray. These substances can damage the surface layer of your jewelry and lead to discoloration.

• Gold plated jewelry can react with other metals, therefore it is best to store them separately from other jewelry to avoid unwanted chemicals reactions.
