In a fisherman's cottage on Käringön, far out in the west coast sea belt, is an old fisherman's shirt from last century. With this as an original, we have now created this garment. The fisherman shirt has been a part of our collection since 2004. The pattern has been diligently knitted for several decades along the west coast. 

When we were offered an old fisherman's cottage on Käringön, there was one catch. We were to create a fisherman shirt based on an old pattern originated from the island. 

Since the sweater was knitted in a very specific way, we hade to find the right factory for the job. In Boarp, just outside of Borås, we found it. This is where the first prototype was created. 

This became our very first garment and is now one of our signature pieces. The sweater now comes in two different colours and in sizes for the whole family. The sweater is knitted in a small factory in northern Portugal. 

A garment that just gets better the more worn, repaired and patched it is.

A classic fisherman's sweater, also known as a "pippitröja". The design is based on a 100-year-old hand-knitted sweater from Käringön. Available in two different color schemes, here in off-white with blue and red stripes.
